Side note breastfeeding is a fulltime job, energy wise to produce and feed milk for atleast first 9mos.

For sure, I was steel-manning Hoffman's perspective, but it's one I align with, along with Kastrup's analytical idealism - though I see this primordial consciousness as itself participating in dependent origination rather than standing outside it (and hold it all very lightly)

I'm liking it so far. I've read Dune 1 a couple times but haven't done the full series, I know I need to, I've heard 4 is amazing.

It’s a philosophical premise, by no means certain, that consciousness is “fundamental, not emergent”
